Cookie Policy
This website sets one cookie. It keeps the contact form secure, it is deleted when you close your browser, and there is nothing else.
Draft pending review. This page was written from how the website actually behaves, and it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It is published so you can see what the site does today. If anything on this page matters to a decision you are making, call us on 716-771-2536 and we will confirm it.

The short version
Most websites set a long list of cookies, which is why most websites open with a consent banner. This one sets a single cookie, called PHPSESSID. It exists so the contact form can tell a genuine message from an automated one. It disappears when you close your browser.
No analytics cookies. No advertising cookies. Nothing that follows you from this site to another one. That is the whole policy, and the rest of this page just explains it properly.
The one cookie this site sets
| Name | Purpose | Type | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Carries the security token and the anti-spam timer for the contact form | Strictly necessary, first party | When the browser closes |
A few details about that one entry, because they are the reason it is on the strictly necessary side of the line:
- It is set only on the contact page and by the code that handles a submitted form. Reading a guide or looking at a product page sets nothing.
- It holds a security token that proves the form you are submitting came from this site, plus a timer that catches submissions filled in faster than a person could type.
- It is marked Secure, so it only travels over HTTPS, and HttpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it. It is also marked SameSite=Lax, so another website cannot make your browser submit a form here using it. Another website from making your browser send it.
- It is not used for analytics, advertising, profiling or measuring anything.
- It is a session cookie, so closing the browser removes it.
"First party" means the cookie is set by this website's own address. Nothing on these pages is in a position to set a cookie belonging to anybody else.
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners exist because of the cookies this site does not set: the ones that count visitors, build advertising profiles or record what you do on a page. This site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there are no optional cookies to offer you a choice about. The one cookie it does set is there to make the contact form work and secure, and the form cannot function without it. That is why you are not asked to opt into anything here.
If you have arrived from a site that asked you to accept cookies and are wondering where the equivalent box is here, that is the answer: there is no choice to make.
What this site does not load
Cookies usually arrive through third-party scripts. None of the usual ones are on this site:
- No Google Analytics and no Google Tag Manager.
- No Meta Pixel or other advertising pixels.
- No Microsoft Clarity or any other session recording.
- No reCAPTCHA or similar challenge service.
- No hosted web fonts.
- No content delivery network.
- No embedded video, maps or social feeds.
- No third-party script of any kind.
The pages load one stylesheet and one JavaScript file, and both come from this site's own server.
If you block cookies
Every browser can block cookies, either everywhere or for a single site. If you block them for this one, the pages will still load and read normally, because nothing on them depends on a cookie. The contact form is the exception: without the session cookie it cannot check its own security token, so a submitted message will not go through.
If you would rather not enable cookies, ring 716-771-2536 instead. It reaches the same people the form does.
Cookies set by sites you click through to
Some links on this site lead somewhere else: the storefront at checkout.aldomedia.net where domains and hosting are bought, the web design site at aldomedia.com, and the AldoMedia profiles on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X in the footer.
Because none of those services are embedded in these pages, none of them can set a cookie while you are reading this site. Once you click through you are on a different website, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. The storefront in particular is run by our upstream partner and is subject to their terms.
The domain search box
Typing a name into a search box on this site and pressing the button sends what you typed to the storefront as part of the web address. This site does not store that query and does not log it. From the moment the storefront opens, you are on their site under their cookies and their terms.
Server logs are not cookies
Like nearly every website, this one runs on a server that keeps standard access logs of the requests it receives. Those are records held by the server, not files stored on your device, so they are not cookies and no cookie setting affects them. The hosting provider keeps them, and AldoMedia does not control how long they are retained.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, block them for one site or block them everywhere. The menus differ between browsers and change between versions, so the browser's own help pages are the reliable guide. Deleting PHPSESSID part way through a visit does no harm: a fresh one is created the next time you open the contact form.
If this ever changes
If AldoMedia ever adds analytics or anything else that is not strictly necessary to this site, this page will be updated to describe it.
Questions about this policy
This page covers cookies only. What happens to the details you actually send us, including what the contact form collects and where it goes, is set out in the privacy policy. The wider legal information page lists the rest.
